1 cup potatoes -- diced 1/4 cup onion -- diced 1/2 cup celery -- diced 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups water 3 tablespoons butter, -- melted 1 1/2 tablespoons flour 2 cups milk 1 cup ham -- diced Combine first six ingredients. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Combine flour and melted butter. Add butter, milk and diced ham to vegetables. Heat just to boiling. Let set a couple of hours to allow flavors to blend.
