1/2 c Shortening

1 c White sugar

2 tb Cornstarch

2 tb Vinegar

1/2 ts Baking powder

1/2 ts Baking soda

1/4 ts Salt

1 c Water

2 c White flour

-----------------------------FILLING & TOPPING----------------------------- 1 tb Cinnamon

2 tb White sugar

Cream together shortening & sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients in order & mix till well combined. Combine sugar & cinnamon & mix. Grease & flour a loaf tin. Divide batter into thirds. Layer one third of the batter in the bottom of the loaf pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Layer with another third of the batter & sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Spread out last part of the batter. Slice through the batter at various points with a knife to create the marbled effect. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until the loaf tests done.
